Six titles are on the line across five matches when the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania hits Houston, Texas on the 5th of April 2009.

Winning a WWE Championship is good. Winning a WWE Championship at WrestleMania is better. Winning a WWE Championship at the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania could be the thing that turns a Superstar into a potential Legend. At WrestleMania XXV there will be four title matches with a total of seven belts up for grabs.

JBL (c) Vs. Rey Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship

Why this match is on a WrestleMania card is anyone's guess. JBL Vs. Rey has been done to death, with the two even meeting in practically the same circumstances six days before WrestleMania on Raw. The two have surely shown the fans everything they are capable of and throwing the Intercontinental Championship into the fray won't really change that.

For this match to be memorable in any way something big has to happen. Usually JBL will beat down Rey for the majority of the match, only for the luchador to spring into life at the end of the bout and steal a victory, this simply can't happen at WrestleMania and if it does there are sure to be a lot of fans wondering why they paid so much to see it.

Rumours are circulating that JBL is planning on retiring in the very near future, and where better than in his home state after defending his Intercontinental Championship. IF this is the case, it might just be enough to save this one from being the 'toilet break'.

Prediction: JBL to defend his title and possibly retire shortly afterwards.

The Miz & Morrison (c) Vs. Carlito & Primo (c) in a Tag Team Title Unification Match

As with the previous match this one has been done quite a few times, but unlike JBL and Rey these two teams always seem to be able to pull something a little different out of the bag and it also has the novelty value of titles unifying come the end of it. Finally throw in a mini feud between the Bella Twins and a load of 'nothing better to do at Mania' Lumberjacks, and this one has the potential to be a show stealer. Of course it also has the potential to be the second 'toilet break' of the night.

Prediction: This really could go either way as Miz & Morrison seem to be flavour of the month at the moment, but a win for Carlito & Primo would go over better with the fans. Carlito & Primo to edge it.

Edge (c) Vs. John Cena Vs. The Big Show for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship

General Manager Vikki Guererro seems to be the key to this bout, although whether anyone cares is quite another matter. Edge has developed brilliantly into a main event villain and the way in which the creative team stripped him of one title only to have him win another in the same night at No Way Out was a master-stroke, but putting him in an under promoted triple threat match and then trying to make it slightly interesting by creating a love triangle is pretty weak.

This one won't be amazing and any interest in it will focus around Vikki's involvement and who leaves with the Championship.

Prediction: Hopefully Edge will leave with the title but without Guererro. Whatever happens expect Cena to be boo'ed at some point, it always happens at WrestleMania.

Triple H (c) Vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship

Ever since Orton won the Royal Rumble at Triple H's expense it seemed these two were destined to meet at WrestleMania, although few would have predicted how personal it would become. After kicking the President of the WWE (and coincidentally enough Triple H's father in law) Vince McMahon in the head upon his triumphant return to Raw, Orton seemed to make a habit of brutally attacking the McMahon family.

With the aid of his handpicked faction; Legacy, Orton destroyed Shane McMahon and then RKO'd Stephanie McMahon, prompting The Game to involve himself more actively and defend his wife and in-laws. Orton later confirmed that all these attacks had been a pre-meditated way of drawing his WrestleMania opponent into a match, as he desperately seeks revenge for the way in which he was removed from Evolution by Triple H almost four years ago.

After yet another brutal attack by Legacy on both Triple H and Stephanie, things looked bleak for the current WWE Champion, especially when Orton announced that should The Game be disqualified or even bring a Sledgehammer to ringside then he would lose his title. However, at the climax of the final Raw before WrestleMania Vince and Shane made a dramatic return to back up the Champ and eliminate any numbers advantage Orton may have had.

Prediction: Despite Vince and Shane's return expect Triple H to 'pass the torch', though how it will happen could provide some surprises.
